CRAIG McKEOUGH and Steve Pickett, the Canterbury-Bankstown forwards, have joined Widnes, the Stones Bitter Championship club, on trial. The pair, who are out of contract at Canterbury, have paid their own fares from Australia in an attempt to make it in the British game. Widnes have room for two overseas players as their Tongan forward, Emosi Koloto, has joined Halifax on loan after failing to make the senior side this season.
