NEIL MATTHEWS, the England B fly- half, will be out of the game for between six and eight weeks after breaking his right hand in Gloucester's league match with London Irish.

JONATHAN APSEE, 32, has left Bridgend and joined South Wales Police after enrolling in the force. The former Bridgend captain and centre will be available to play in Heineken League matches for the First Division strugglers from next month.
