PHIL WHITLOCK, who played in and won the National Championships earlier this month despite a boycott by top British professionals, will face his fellow- countryman and the rebels ringleader, Tony Hands, in the Canadian Open final. The victor will be the first English player to win a world circuit title since 1984.
