AN APPEAL to promoters to experiment with the American (point-per-rally to nine-up) scoring system has been made by the world governing body, the International Squash Players' Association, to improve the sport's marketing potential. In September, the ISPA expects to take over the American governing body, the WPSA, which has presided over the 'hard ball' version of the game for 90 years.
