LISA LOMAS, the England No 1, withdrew from the European Top-12 tournament in Copenhagen yesterday, after losing her opening game, 3-0, to Asa Svensson of Sweden. Lomas, from Luton, who was suffering from a thigh muscle injury, will rest for two weeks. In the men's section, Rotherham-based Chen Xinhua and Carl Prean, the England second string from the Isle of Wight, lost both their opening matches.
