ALISON GORDON, England women's champion, returns to the England team for the crucial match in the European women's league super division against Germany at Scarborough on 6 October. Germany were beaten 3-0 by England at the European championships in Stuttgart in April when Gordon defeated Elke Schall and the England No 1, Lisa Lomas, beat her German counterpart, Olga Nemes.
