THE men's singles champions at this year's four Grand Slam tournaments will each receive dollars 250,000 (pounds 160,000) to compete in the dollars 6m (pounds 4m) Grand Slam Cup in Munich from 7 to 12 December. The remaining dollars 5m (pounds 3.33m) will comprise the event's prize fund with the winner taking dollars 1.5 (pounds 1m). If a Grand Slam winner opts out, his fee will be added to the prize money.
