JIM COURIER'S slump in form since winning the French Open continued when he was beaten by his fellow American, David Wheaton, in the third round of the Thriftway ATP Championships in Ohio. Courier, the world No 1, lost 7-5, 7- 6, while Andre Agassi, the Wimbledon champion, also had a bad day, losing 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 to the Peruvian, Jaime Yzaga.
