ANDREW DAVIES, the triple Commonwealth Games gold medallist from Wales, sent home from the Olympic Games last year after a positive drugs test is to return to competition in March. Davies was not allowed to lift in Barcelona when traces of clenbuterol were found in a pre-Games sample he had given in Britain. However, Davies was later cleared of all wrong-doing by the British Amateur Weightlifting Association and is now aiming to make his comeback at the Welsh Championships at Cwmbran in March.
