The Seattle Seahawks have sacked their coach, Tom Flores, after their second successive 6-10 season. The club finished last in the American Conference West all three seasons under Flores.

The Denver Broncos, who made the play-offs in 1993, have fired their coach, Wade Phillips, after their 7-9 season.
