TONY JARRETT, the hurdler called in to replace the injured world champion Colin Jackson, has withdrawn because of an injured foot from Britain's team for the European Cup at Birmingham this weekend. Andy Tulloch will take his place. Liz McColgan has also withdrawn from the 10,000 metres. She is replaced by Vikki McPherson.
