ORGANISERS of the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Victoria, Canada, from 18 to 28 August, yesterday said that South Africa is expected to take part in the Games for the first time in 36 years.

LINFORD CHRISTIE and Sally Gunnell will captain Britain's men's and women's teams in the European Cup at Birmingham on 25 to 26 June.
