A GERMAN athletics federation spokesman said that an arbitration panel's decision to reduce the drug ban on the sprinter, Katrin Krabbe, from four years to 12 months was a setback, but that they would not be appealing. The International Amateur Athletic Federation have yet to decide whether to accept the German ruling.
