ZAMBIA'S sports council has overturned a ban on the world 400-metre hurdles champion Samuel Matete for receiving illegal payments for competing in International Amateur Athletic Federation fixtures while on a scholarship to the United States. The ban was originally imposed by the Zambian Amateur Athletic Association.
