KENYAN officials yesterday dropped their appeal against John Ngugi's four-year suspension for refusing to submit to a drug test, two days before an arbitration panel was due to hear the case. The five-times world cross-country champion was banned by the International Amateur Athletic Federation last February after refusing a random test.
