Kenya's Benson Masya ran the fastest 10-miles in Britain to win yesterday's Bupa Great South run in Portsmouth. His 45min 56sec was six seconds better than the mark set by Richard Nerurkar two years ago. Liz McColgan won the women's race in 53min 12sec - the fastest time by a British woman over 10 miles this year.
