Anders Nielsen, the English national champion, will pay his own way to try to qualify for next year's Olympics after having his ban, issued on Sunday, confirmed by the Association of England yesterday. Nielsen will receive no financial support from the association until after the end of January because he withdrew from the British Grand Slam tournament in Perth in September without a medical certificate.
