MITCH WILLIAMS, the 29-year-old Philadelphia relief pitcher who lost two games and gave up the final home run to Toronto in the World Series, was traded from the Phillies to the Houston Astros yesterday for the reliever Doug Jones and a minor league pitcher, Jeff Juden. Williams, known as 'Wild Thing', has saved 186 games, 19th on the career list.
