IRELAND'S Margaret Johnston, winner of the women's world outdoor title last year, caused an upset on the second day of the Mazda International Jack High event on Australia's Gold Coast when she beat Scotland's Richard Corsie, the world indoor champion. England's Gary Smith suffered his second successive defeat when he lost to Mark McMahon from Hong Kong.
