VIRGIL HILL makes his fourth defence of the World Boxing Association light heavyweight championship when he meets Drake Thadzi, of Malawi, at Grand Forks, North Dakota tonight. On the same bill Britain's Gary Mason, making a comeback after suffering a detached retina three years ago, meets Michigan's K P Porter in a heavyweight contest.

DENNIS ANDRIES, three times a world champion, will fight the former British light-heavyweight title holder, Crawford Ashley of Leeds, at Cardiff tonight on the undercard of Nicky Piper's World Boxing Organisation light- heavyweight title challenge against Leeonzer Barber.
