RIDDICK BOWE, the former world heavyweight champion, has been confirmed to appear on the undercard when Lennox Lewis makes the fourth defence of his World Boxing Council title against Oliver McCall at Wembley Arena on 24 September.

NEVILLE BROWN, the British champion from Burton, challenges Italy's Agostino Cardamone in Solofra, near Naples, tonight for the European middleweight title. The champion, fighting in his home town, is unbeaten in 21 professional bouts.

BILLY SCHWER, who is to challenge Rafael Ruelas for the International Boxing Federation lightweight title in Hong Kong on 23 October, has been told he must also defend his domestic championship by 30 November against Michael Ayers of London.
