The Sri Lankan off-spinner, Kumara Dharmasena, who has been asked to rectify his bowling action by the International Cricket Council, has been selected in the preliminary squad of 19 for the World Cup. Off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who was called for throwing during the Tri-Nations series in Australia in January, has also been included.
