A fifth-wicket century stand between Yousaf Youhana and Moin Khan enabled Pakistan to salvage a draw against Zimbabwe on the final day of the first Test in Bulawayo. The two put on 110 in five minutes short of three hours to guide Pakistan to safety at 258 for 6 in their second innings, Youhana scoring 64 and Khan 97. With Zimbabwe needing four wickets and Pakistan another 113 runs to win with only 7.3 overs remaining, the captains agreed to call the match off early.
