In a game reduced by early morning rain to 48 overs, Pakistan reached 213 for 6 thanks mainly to a 142-run partnership between Inzamam-ul-Haq and Aamir Sohail. New Zealand progressed steadily until the run-rate began to increase and they fell 12 short, finishing on 202 for 8.
