JOHN COMMINS (164) and left-arm spinner Nicky Boje (102) shared a ninth-wicket stand of 268 for South Africa A against Mashonaland in Harare yesterday. If the match is ratified as first class it will stand as the second-highest partnership for the wicket in first-class history behind the 283 by Chapman and Warren for Derbyshire against Warwickshire in 1910.
