WORCESTERSHIRE yesterday re- signed the Australian Test batsman Tom Moody on a two-year contract. Moody, 28, returns to New Road after missing last season when the West Indian pace bowler Kenny Benjamin was the county's overseas player.

DAVID HEATH, 61, Warwickshire's secretary and chief executive for seven years, is to take early retirement because of ill-health.
