The West Indies have made wholesale changes to their team for a three-way one-day tournament in Sharjah next month. Eight of the 17 in England have been omitted although fast bowlers Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh have taken up the West Indies board's offer to rest following their summer's exertions. The two most prominent absentees are Carl Hooper and Kenny Benjamin.
