Sporting Digest: Cycling
RANDOM drug-testing is to be introduced into cycling. UCI, the sport's governing body, under pressure from the International Olympic Committee, is to introduce the testing to bring the sport closer to IOC guidelines. The ruling should be rubberstamped by the UCI executive at the end of January and come into force for the 1994 season.
