Nick Skelton has had to pull out of the World Cup International Jumping Show starting at Millstreet, County Cork today after fracturing his collar bone in a fall at a Solihull show near his home.

Mike Etherington-Smith, the cross country course designer for the three- day event at the Sydney Olympics, has been appointed Director of the Windsor International Horse Trials next May following the resignation of Giles Rowsell.
