Parma warmed up for their Champions' League qualifier against Rangers tomorrow by lifting the Italian Super Cup on Sunday. They beat Milan 2-1 after goals from Hernan Crespo and Alan Boghossian.

Christian Ziege, the Middlesbrough wing-back, has been recalled by Germany for their European Championship qualifying matches next month. The 27- year-old has not played for Germany since the World Cup but has 41 full caps.
