Wolves' German midfielder Robert Niestroj has gone on loan to Nuremberg for the rest of the season. The 25-year-old has only made seven appearances for the Molineux club since signing from Fortuna Dusseldorf in November 1998.

Middlesbrough's full-back Curtis Fleming could be out of action for up to six weeks with a rib injury. X-rays have revealed the 31-year-old defender suffered a torn rib cartilage in the 1-1 draw at Bradford City on Saturday.

Uefa has invited former players from each team that won the European Championship to take part in the Euro 2000 draw on 12 December at the Brussels Exhibition centre.
