Danny Cullip, the Fulham defender, is set to join Brentford in a pounds 50,000 deal.

Preston North End have signed the striker Habib Sissoko, 26, for a nominal fee from the French Second Division club, Louhans-Cuiseaux.

The Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland have agreed to stage a triangular Under-21 tournament over the next three years. The first tournament will take place in the Republic in May, with Dublin the likely venue for the games.
