Military prosecutors from the Romanian Interior Ministry, owners of the Dinamo Bucharest football club, have issued a warrant for the arrest of Vasile Ianul, the former chairman who is accused of embezzling pounds 1.2m from the club.

Darren Eadie, the Norwich winger, will be out of action for at least a month after undergoing exploratory surgery on his left knee yesterday. Eadie was injured in Saturday's goalless draw with Wolves.
