Bradford City's Norwegian striker, Ole Bjorn Sundgot, has returned to his former club, Molde, on a free transfer.

Walsall have agreed to put their French imports Roger Boli and Jean-Marc Peron on the transfer list at their own request. Boli and Peron, both 32, handed in written requests for a move from the Second Division club today because they want to play at a higher standard.

Benfica's new coach Graeme Souness has asked the 55-year-old Eusebio, the star of the Benfica and Portugal attacks in the 1960s, to take charge of coaching the club's strikers.

Milan's Dutch international defender Winston Bogarde has signed for Barcelona for about pounds 3.3m, reuniting him with his former coach at Ajax, Louis van Gaal. He did not play a full match for Milan, who signed him on a "Bosman" free transfer from Ajax last summer.
