TERRY YORATH, the former Welsh manager, has dropped his law suit against the Football Association of Wales. Yorath had claimed unfair dismissal after losing his job following Wales's failure to qualify for the World Cup finals.

WALSALL have appointed Kevin Wilson, the 33-year-old former Derby, Chelsea and Northern Ireland striker, as player-coach after signing him on a free transfer from Notts County.
