LOU MACARI made his first signing since rejoining Stoke as manager when he bought the Wolves midfielder Kevin Keen for pounds 300,000 yesterday. Keen, 27, joined Wolves from West Ham for pounds 650,000 in the summer of 1993.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY'S Des Walker is to be charged by the Football Association over the head-butting incident after Wednesday's 2-1 Premiership win at Ipswich on Sunday.

A CROWD of 15,645 - Brighton's biggest for two seasons - attended Jimmy Case's benefit match against Liverpool last night. The 40-year-old Case is expected to collect around pounds 80,000.
