THE former Manchester City defender, Dragonlav Stepanovic, resigned as the coach of Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday after the Bundesliga club were beaten 3-0 in the semi-finals of the German Cup by Bayer Leverkusen - the team Stepanovic is set to join next season. Malta's former national team coach Horst Heese took over as caretaker coach until the end of June when Klaus Toppmoller from Waldhof Mannheim will take charge.
