JUSTIN FASHANU, the former Nottingham Forest and Norwich City striker, has signed a one-year contract with Heart of Midlothian after being released by their Scottish Premier Division rivals, Airdrie.

CROATIA ZAGREB (formally Dinamo Zagreb) have been admitted to next season's European Cup by Uefa. The Croatian title holders will be joined in next week's draw by the champions of Belarus (Dynamo Minsk) and Moldova (Zimbru Chisinau), also on a trial basis.
