Eintracht Frankfurt, fourth from bottom in the German Bundesliga First Division, have appointed Reinhold Fanz as their new coach following the sacking of Horst Ehrmanntraut two weeks ago. Fanz, 44, joins Eintracht from the Second Division team, Hannover.

Italian teams moved into a dominant position in the European club rankings this week as Internazionale and Lazio joined three other sides from Serie A in the top 10.
