Bora Milutinovic resigned as the United States national coach yesterday after four years in the post. Milutinovic led the USA to the World Cup second round on home soil last year and their run ended with a 1-0 defeat against the eventual champions, Brazil. Under his leadership, the USA won 30 matches, lost 35 and drew 31.

Celtic are warning supporters not to buy stolen tickets for the forthcoming matches against Hearts and Rangers. A box of tickets went missing from the Sheffield printers, GMS, for the games against Hearts on Wednesday and Rangers on 7 May. The tickets, which are cream in colour, will not be valid for either match as new tickets have been printed in a different colour.
