TENNENTS has ended its sponsorship of Scotland's indoor competition, the Tennents Sixes, after 10- years. However, the company will invest extra money in the Scottish Cup, which it is sponsoring for a further four years at a cost of pounds 2.5m.

FIFA has rejected Zambia's appeal to replay their World Cup qualifier which they lost 1-0 to Morocco, costing them qualification for next year's finals. Fifa said their complaints of biased officiating were unfounded. Zambia may appeal.
