Colin Greenall, the 31-year-old Lincoln defender, will join his former Chester manager, Graham Barrow, at Third Division Wigan. Greenall's debut game is at home to Plymouth on Saturday, with the fee yet to be decided.

Stoke have rejected Birmingham's offer of players plus cash to re-sign Paul Peschisolido, about whom the Italian club Foggia have also enquired. Toddy Orlygsson, out of contract at Stoke, is to discuss terms with Barnsley.
