JOHN DALY was disqualified from the Greater Hartford Open yesterday after signing an incorrect scorecard for Sunday's final round. Daly finished tied for 22nd place.

WALES, the beaten semi-finalists in the 1991 Dunhill Cup, are not among the 16 teams invited to contest this October's contest at St Andrews. For the first time in the event's 10-year history it was decided not to hold a qualifying tournament this season and Wales have paid the price for losing their three group matches last year. Argentina and Mexico are also not being invited back.
