DAVID FEHERTY, of Northern Ireland, won his US Tour card after finishing 16th in the six-day qualifying tournament in California. Ronan Rafferty, also from Northern Ireland, failed to qualify by five shots.

BERNHARD LANGER has been named this year's winner of the Association of Golf Writers' Trophy. It is the second time that the 36- year-old German has taken the award.
