ENGLAND men's team drew the first of their two games against Germany, the Olympic champions, 1-1 at Bisham Abbey in a lacklustre match. England took the lead in the 25th minute from a penalty corner by Neil Thompson but Christian Stengler equalised from close range early in the second half.
