JENNY CARDWELL is to resume her successful partnership with the Great Britain coach Sue Slocombe after being appointed Great Britain manager. Cardwell, England manager since 1989, teamed up with Slocombe, the English coach, to steer their side to the 1991 European Cup gold medal. She succeeds Di Batterham, who retired after the Barcelona Olympics.
