The Ford Motor Company has appointed Paul Stewart chief operating officer of its newly- acquired Stewart Grand Prix team. Paul, the son of the former world champion Jackie Stewart, who recently sold the team to Ford in a pounds 100m deal, said: "Under Ford ownership, the team will have the resources and expertise to realise our goal of a concerted challenge for the Formula One world championship."
