THE Argentine Grand Prix, postponed until next year, has been replaced on this season's calendar by a European Grand Prix, at Jerez, Spain, the sport's ruling body, FIA, announced yesterday. FIA also said it was backing measures to increase protection inside the car for a driver's head and neck, and for greater lateral protection of the chassis.
