THE Finnish driver, J J Lehto, who broke two vertebrae in a crash six weeks ago, resumes testing with Benetton-Ford at Imola today in an attempt to prove his fitness for the Formula One season, which opens in Brazil on 27 March.

ROLAND RATZENBERGER, the Austrian driver, has signed with the Simtek Formula One team for at least the first five races of the season.
