MICHAEL SCHUMACHER will commit himself to the Benetton-Ford Formula One team when he signs a new, two year agreement in Frankfurt today - an announcement which will end the advances of McLaren-Peugeot's for the 24-year old German. Benetton have doubled Schumacher's salary to about dollars 6m ( pounds 4m) to secure his services until the end of 1995. An option for a further three years has also been built into the revised agreement.
